It's because The Invincible story is not only about individual experiences. What's important for us is that we presented the concept of The Invincible game to Tomasz Lem, Stanisław's son in the very beginning (including characters' genders) - and he didn't have any objections, he didn't feel like it contradicts his father's legacy :) She has a different personality than Rohan and it adds much to the gameplay - many phenomena she discovers are perceived and interpreted through an astrobiologist's lens. We also didn't want people to confuse Rohan with our protagonist, so we decided to create Yasna. We wanted to implement a few more things in the narrative, to make gameplay more intriguing and exciting and that’s why we needed to form new characters (although players will meet some of the old ones as well…).
