ATC encourages individuals to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud by reviewing their account statements and monitoring their free credit reports for suspicious activity and to detect errors. Importantly, the investigation was unable to confirm that any specific information was actually accessed, copied, or transferred from our server. In an abundance of caution, ATC is also notifying potentially affected individuals and providing information on steps that may be taken to best protect personal information. These steps include implementing additional technical safeguards and working on additional training and education for our staff on ways to guard against cyber-attacks. Upon learning of the event, ATC immediately took steps to secure the systems and investigate the full scope of the incident, and is taking additional steps to further enhance the security of its systems. The confidentiality, privacy, and security of information within ATC’s care are among ATC’s highest priorities. ATC is sending written notification to all potentially impacted individuals for whom we could obtain address information. What Information Was Involved? While the investigation to determine the full scope of information affected is ongoing and will vary by individual, the involved systems may have contained the following types of information at the time of the incident: names, Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, financial account information, usernames and passwords, passport numbers, biometric data, medical information, health insurance information, electronic/digital signatures, and employer-assigned identification numbers. We are providing this notice to you because we understand, based on our investigation, that your information was present in the impacted email accounts during the period of unauthorized access. We completed these efforts on Jand worked to provide notification to potentially impacted individuals. We thereafter worked to reconcile the information with our internal records in furtherance of identifying the individuals to whom the data related and the appropriate contact information for the relevant individuals. The first phase of this process was completed on May 19, 2022. However, because the investigation could not conclusively rule out access to data within the impacted email accounts, in an abundance of caution, we then undertook a diligent review to identify what information was present in the impacted email accounts and therefore potentially accessible to the unauthorized individual. The investigation confirmed that the email accounts were accessed without authorization at varying times between Februand December 22, 2021. We promptly took steps to secure the accounts and initiated an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the event, including any risk to data present in the email accounts. What Happened? On December 22, 2021, ATC discovered unusual activity involving certain employee email accounts.
